Rhys Holleran appointed Super Radio Network CEO
Super Radio Network (SRN) has appointed Rhys Holleran as the network’s inaugural Chief Executive Officer.
Hollern was CEO of what is now SCA for 18 years and a current director of Great Southern Land Media who own Mix FM and Sea FM on the Sunshine Coast.
SRN Chairperson Joan Warner said “We are delighted to welcome Rhys to Super Radio Network. Rhys brings the experience that SRN needs to move the company forward over the next months. He will be a valuable addition as CEO to the SRN Group in charting the way ahead for the business.”
Director George Caralis said “Rhys has an enviable record in the commercial radio industry, and we are lucky to have obtained his services at this crucial time for the network.”
“Rhys is a great radio operator and his contribution to SRN will be invaluable. I very much look forward to working with him”, added Director Despina Priala.
Holleran said “I am delighted to be joining SRN as CEO. Super Radio Network is a complex and interesting business, and I look forward to the challenge ahead.”

Hopefully he can point them in the right direction, and get 2SM back into the ratings.
Maybe SRN will try buy Cruise1323 if ARN sells it
@Max: Probably more likely is 1323 Adelaide going* to SEN.
*Back, keeping in mind that ill-fated run of SEN in Adelaide about 20 years ago under former management/ownership eras.
Anyway, there was recently a job ad up for a Super Radio Network Chief Financial Officer so presumably an announcement about that is impending.
Great addition, much needed. However, any other network would know today ain’t the day to make an announcement like this.
Interesting to announce this same day as the ARN Up Fronts, given that Rhys is the bozo who let K&J go to KIIS 11 years ago.
