Record breaking community listener survey result for Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7
Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7 has recorded its biggest audience in the station’s 27-year history, in the latest McNair community listener survey.
Fresh continues to dominate the local community radio market, growing its weekly audience to 217,000 – an increase of 5,000. The station saw increases in every shift across the day – and in every key demographic under 54 years of age.
The Breakfast team of Tom & Callum continued their growth, gaining another 19,000 listeners to reach a total of 153,000.
Fresh is riding the crest of a wave right now, with its 27th Birthday Party featuring ‘Groove Terminator’ selling out in just two weeks.

There’s also a new generation of content creators seeking to work at Fresh, with the Generation Fresh competition attracting hundreds of entries, which have now been narrowed down to the top 15.
Fresh 92.7 Content Director Sean Craig Murphy said “It’s hard not to be swept up in the energy of the Fresh fam. The entire staff works their butts off and the Fresh listeners are so engaged.”
“To be given the freedom to be so creative with the content and promotions reminds me of when I first started in radio. And the on-air team are so thirsty to learn and get better it’s made my job over the last 3 months a programmers dream.”
Murphy credits former Content Director Sophie Campbell as having been central to the latest set of survey results.
“She’s an absolute gun!”

Mc Nair is pure black magic. You only have to listen once in a month. How does that qualify for audience.
