Raw conversations. Sexy hornbags. Patrina Jones launches Season 2 of Rage Against the Menopause podcast

Reporter

It’s raw, it’s honest and – after a taboo-breaking first season – the Rage Against the Menopause podcast is back for Season 2.

Hosted by The Christian O’Connell Show’s Patrina Jones – aka ‘Pats,’ the latest series launches today.

Unapologetically authentic, Pats talks candidly about perimenopause and menopause, as well as tackling other topics like motherhood, endometriosis and juggling it all while maintaining a high-profile career.

Known and loved by Gold 104.3 listeners as funny, fearless and real, Pats launched Rage Against the Menopause last year to help break the stigma around menopause, build a community of support for other women and let them know they’re not alone.

Pats says “I am so thrilled to be launching this next season of Rage Against the Menopause. I go there – it will be just as raw, honest, informative and entertaining and will include tips for men – from other guys – on how to help support women, after a massive response from blokes around the world to my debut series.”

“To have people come up to me in the street and say things like ‘Your podcast has been a lifesaver, thank you’ has been utterly overwhelming.”

Pats says that while perimenopause and menopause will impact 1.2 billion women globally by 2030, many simply don’t feel heard.

“My podcast is building a community and letting women know they’re not alone BUT it’s the response from men that has really taken me by surprise.  Everyone has a role to play in helping to break the stigma.”

Each episode, Pats is joined by guests including renowned experts, celebrities and public figures.

The first episode of Rage Against the Menopause Season 2 is now live, and I feel stoked and privileged to say Patsy’s first guest is me, Sarah P.

Pats and I have known one another since we were both bright-eyed, bushy-tailed radio newbies. Babies, really.

Now we’re just babes. Total hornbags!

Our connection through decades of friendship sees us throw inhibition to the wind.

Future episodes are set to feature Australian music icon Kate Ceberano, Greens Leader Larissa Waters, broadcaster and counsellor Brigitte Duclos, businesswoman, author and former Real Housewives of Melbourne star Chyka Keebaugh, personal trainer Mitch Little, Dr Sonia Davidson from the Jean Hailes Foundation and leading obstetrician-gynaecologist Dr Brad Robinson.

Rage Against the Menopause is a menopause podcast like no other, because no matter how invisible you feel, Patsy’s with you.

Season 2 is available now, with new episodes released every Thursday on the free iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts.
