Radio Today Podcast: All the slips, spills and spin from Survey 2

Staff Writer

The radio ratings are in, giving everyone in radio something to talk about – whether it’s the ongoing struggles of 2DayFM’s The Morning Crew, WSFM’s recovery, B105’s rise to the top, Ben Fordham’s fall, the tight race in Melbourne, changes in Perth or Mix’s scandals and successes in Adelaide.

This week’s Radio Today Tonight podcast goes beyond the headline numbers and looks at what’s happening for each of the networks, as well as how the content bosses reacted to it all.

Plus, Nova Boy is back, and we look at whether an animated dancing character can help lift some of Nova’s troubled timeslots.

Radio Today Tonight is back for 2021, coming to you each Thursday mixing the biggest news of the week, along with a discussion of all the personalities, politics and pressures involved in the audio industry.

It will be jointly hosted by Radio Today editor Vivienne Kelly and publisher Jake Challenor.

Subscribe to Radio Today Tonight now on AppleAcastSpotifyGoogle, or iHeartRadio.

I was concerned that Jake and Viv were going to turn this podcast into a left wing flog fest but I have to say this was a really good show

Just lots of great, insightful radio information – thanks

Still listen to Tim Webster on 2CH DAB+. Great broadcaster. Grew up with him in Newcastle in the 70’s
