Radio 88.9fm/96.3fm covers Bush Summit in Tamworth

It’s been a whirlwind few days for the team Radio 88.9/96.3fm – which was front and centre during the Daily Telegraph’s Bush Summit in Tamworth.

In the lead up, Daily Telegraph Editor Ben English and Matt ‘Macca’ MacCarthy discussed the issues for the Bush Summit live during Macca’s radio program.

Led by the station’s senior journalist Jon Wolfe, the news team provided live updates throughout the day – both on air and on social media – from the Tamworth Regional Entertainment and Conference Centre (TRECC).

The station also broadcast Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s keynote speech, along with comments from Environment Minister Tanya Plibersek MP, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton and New South Wales Premier Chris Minns.
