Radar rock the AFL
The "live at the footy' project between SCA's Radar Radio and the AFL has announced the next four bands to play live in front of AFL crowds through June and July.
- This Saturday at the Essendon vs Melbourne match at the MCG Bluejuice will play live;
- The following week, on 9 June at Etihad Stadium, Faker (pictured) will play in front of the Essendon vs Sydney crowd;
- On 7 July, San Cisco will play at Etihad, at the St Kilda vs Essendon match;
- And Lanie Lane will play at the Geelong vs Collingwood match at the MCG on 14 July.
'live at the footy' is a joint project between the AFL and Radar, and is supported by Channel 7 and Frontier. AFL General Manager Strategy and Marketing, Andrew Catterall said;
“We are proud to provide opportunities for these four high calibre Australian acts to perform live on Saturday nights to huge AFL audiences, whilst adding another dimension to a night at the footy for our fans”.
