Pyne ditches ABC for FIVEaa

Staff Writer

Liberal frontbencher Christopher Pyne has been a regular on 891 ABC for 12years but no more. He is making a jump to FIVEaa and will debut next week with David Penberthy and Will Goodings.

Christopher didn’t appear yesterday on ABC in his regular spot with Adelaide Advertiser reporting he  advised the ABC of his plans on Tuesday and told the station, “that there was no ill feeling and he simply wanted to try something new after 12 years of regular appearances on 891.”

891 ABC breakfast announcer Matthew Abraham told The Advertiser: We’re relaxed about it. Talent comes and talent goes. 10 years is a long time in radio.

“I hope he works his magic at FIVEaa.”

Take a listen to one of the more recent chats Christopher Pyne had with the ABC here and you can draw your own conclusion.
