Wave FM’s Jade & Damien showcase the delights of Dapto in new song

The Wave FM 96.5 Breakfast team of Jade Tonta and Damien Leith have been taking localism to new levels these past few weeks with a series of Suburban Songs.
Written, produced and performed in-house, the latest song brings Jade and Damien to the Wollongong suburb of Dapto, showcasing everything from the Dapto Mall to the local greyhound races – better known as the Dapto Dogs – on a Thursday night.
Illawarra businesses including Hotel Dapto, the Dapto Leagues Club and the local public school were only too happy to get on board.

As sure as the sun rising, wave fm will roll out suburban songs every year
@ cool.
True they do like a suburban song but this year they have rolled out 4 in in row with one more to come. It’s a mammoth effort and the locals love it. Its far better than “cash” contests that statistics say only 5% of listeners bother to have a go at and as sure as the sun sets in the west Wave and I98 will roll those out every year as well.
