Oscar winner Rami Malek chats being Freddie Mercury with Ben & Liam

Rami Malek just took out Academy Award for Best Actor at the 2019 Oscars for his role as Queen‘s maverick frontman Freddie Mercury.

In honour of the award, triple j re-shared an interview that Brekky hosts Ben & Liam did with Malek last year.

The Bohemian Rhapsody star spoke of the difficulties he faced when getting into character, which included wearing some enormous fake front teeth.

He did admit though that he started to enjoy Freddie’s costuming by the end of filming.

The interview is close to hitting 8 million views across both Facebook and YouTube.
