One skip = $1, Galey did how many?
Sea FM’s Galey, Ross and Charli raised a heap of money for local Gold Coaster’s, the Bennett family this morning.
Paul Gale skipped for Kane, who was killed in a tragic lightning strike just over a week ago.
With Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate, Titan Player William Zillman and lots of supporters stopping by, the target was to raise $10,000 for the Bennett Family.
With one skip equalling $1, Galey skipped over 12,000 times from 6:30 to 11am, with over $12,000 being pledged to help.
Galey said, “We can’t image what Kane’s family are going through at the moment, and wanted to find a way to let them know we are all thinking about them. Thank you to everyone on the Gold and Tweed Coast for being so generous.”
