NZME awarded NZ Media Business of the Year

Hot on the heels of Survey #1 in New Zealand which saw NZME nationally hold the #1 and #2 stations, NewsTalk ZB #1 on 11.8% and Coast #2 overall on 8.4%, the media company has been awarded the prestigious media business of the year award at the 2016 CAANZ Beacons.

The event, held in Auckland, saw nearly 1000 media people come together to celebrate some of the industry’s work over the last year.

Whilst the event is primarily for agencies, Mediaworks received an award for the best launch of a product in partnership with OMDNZ and Beat for the work with Frucor Beverages on the Jono & Ben show.

However from a media perspective the big one went to NZME this time, being named  New Zealand Media Business of the Year.
