Nova’s Jermaine D’Vauz: Cruising with Take That on The Jermaine Plane
Sometimes in radio, a truly special moment comes along which stays with us forever.
For Nova’s Jermaine D’Vauz, this happened just last night.
Jermaine – Digital Content Producer for Nova’s Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel – sat down to interview international pop superstars Take That for his recently-launched show The Jermaine Plane.
It was his first international guest interview and, as a true Gary Barlow fan, Jermaine was in his element.
It’s now thirty years since Take That launched its Everything Changes album.
As well as sharing his own full-circle moment, Jermaine talked all things nostalgia with the guys and chatted about their upcoming This Life on Tour.
Since starting his radio journey as a panel op at Nova Perth eight years ago, Jermaine continues to make his mark on the entertainment industry as a whole.
Jermaine soon graduated to on-air announcing roles at Nova Perth and went on to become Digital Content Producer for the network’s top rating Nathan, Nat and Shaun Breakfast show.
Having gone on to work as Digital Content Producer for Fitzy & Wippa, in 2022, Jermaine joined Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel, and has been there ever since.
Jermaine also hosts the 2-6pm slot every Sunday afternoon on Nova FM across Australia.
From TV reality show intern to being dubbed ‘Jermajesty’ by Kyle Sandilands during a stint as Video & Podcast Producer on the Kyle & Jackie O Show, Jermaine embodies the versatility today’s industry often demands.
And it’s fair to say that working across radio, film, TV and technology has given him a pretty amazing skill set.
The Jermaine Plane can be heard on Nova Throwbacks every Friday night at 6.30
