Nova thanks Mitch Lewis as he departs after 18 years

NOVA Entertainment has confirmed the departure of sports reporter and former Brisbane Breakfast anchor Mitch Lewis after eighteen years at the station.

A Nova spokesperson said “Mitch has made a valued contribution during his time with Nova 106.9 and we thank him for his commitment to the station and our listeners.”

“We wish Mitch all the very best for the future.”

Lewis’s role at the station has wrapped up along with that of Head of Audience Engagement, Nate Ryan, who confirmed his redundancy via LinkedIn:

“Nova has given me the chance to work with brilliant people, amazing partners and some of the biggest platforms, brands and events in the country. I’ve learned a lot, built a lot, and had the opportunity to help bring some genuinely exciting ideas to life.”
