Nova back at the tennis

It's now an annual event, where Nova 100’s Hughesy & Kate compile a group of (female) listeners to become a part of their cheersquad for one Australian tennis player in the Australian Open.

It began two years ago with the 'SamWow' cheersquad in support of Sam Stosur, last year morphing to the 'Atomic Kittens', their cheer squad for Bernard Tomic.

In 2013, the Atomic Kittens are back (below).

Potential Atomic Kittens were invited to register online to become a member of the cheersquad to support Tomic. 

Nova 100 is broadcasting live from Grand Slam Oval each day of the open from 9am-4pm, and is the presenting station for the bands playing each night.
