Nine News presenter Jo Hall joins smoothfm newsdesk for one week

Nine News Presenter Jo Hall will join smoothfm 91.5 as guest news presenter for one week from Monday (July 15).

Hall will team up with Mike Perso, host of smoothfm 91.5’s More Music Breakfast Show, while Jennifer Hansen is on leave.

“Mike and Jen have such a loyal following in breakfast in Melbourne, says smoothfm program director Georgie Page.

“Jo is one of the market’s most respected names in news and brings with her a wealth of experience not only as a journalist, but as a Melburnian and a mother, so we know our listeners are in good hands while Jen is on leave.”

Hall is one of Melbourne’s most distinguished and experienced television presenters.

She currently presents four 6pm bulletins on Nine regional Victoria, and regular stories for the Melbourne bulletin. This year she celebrates 40 years with the network.

“I love radio and I love news, it has been in my blood for 40 years,” says Hall.

“I think of smooth in a similar way to the way I feel about Channel Nine; there is something prestigious and classy about working there, so I’m thrilled for the opportunity to join the smoothfm breakfast team.”

Hansen will return to the studio with Mike Perso on Monday, July 22.
