New book celebrates 90 years of radio in Deniliquin

90 years of radio in Deniliquin is being celebrated with a book that traces the history of 2QN, right back to the 1930s.

Written by Ian Lea, the book takes a nostalgic look back at the station’s early days as 2AK, followed by its transition to 2DN and then 2QN.

All former employees and people associated with 2QN (and in more recent years Edge FM) are invited to attend the book launch in December.

When: 2pm on Saturday 7th December 2024

Where: ACE Radio Studio and Offices,  368 George Street Deniliquin

Following the book launch, afternoon tea will be provided and the opportunity to walk through the working ACE Radio studio complex
