Nova’s Nick, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill deliver exclusive Origin experience for lucky listeners
It’s been a whirlwind week for six lucky Nova 106.9 listeners, after the Brisbane brekky team of Nick, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill took them to Melbourne for State of Origin 2.
There, they were treated to a behind-the-scenes experience at the MCG before watching Queensland‘s 44-24 victory over New South Wales.
The listeners won their spots on the station’s exclusive Access All Origin tour by proving their Maroons knowledge in a series of on-air Origin trivia challenges.

The trip included a tour of the MCG and access to the exclusive, no-cameras-allowed Captains Run the day before the match, giving listeners a rare glimpse inside the Queensland camp.
Along the way, they met several Maroons players, including fan favourite Reece Walsh, who was happy to pose for pics.
Adding to the once-in-a-lifetime experience, Nick and the listeners were allowed onto the field, where they enjoyed a front-row view of the teams returning for the start of the second half.
Nick, Luttsy & Susie O’Neill broadcast live from Nova Melbourne‘s studios for three days in the lead-up to the clash.
During the trip, the team secured interviews with Maroons assistant coach Ben Te’o, injured Queensland forward Pat Carrigan and Maroons legend Darren Lockyer.
The team ensured that those at home could follow all the action by posting regular content on their socials.
The promotion was thanks to Nova 106.9’s partnership with QRL and Shell V-Power.
