Name change for Victorian community station

Victorian community radio station 3mFM is undergoing a name change.

It will be known as South Coast FM and will go to air under its new name from Sunday, February 12th.

Broadcasting from three FM radio transmission towers across South Gippsland, South Coast FM’s radio  frequencies – FM 88.1, 89.1 & 89.5 – remain unchanged.

The station is situated in the seaside town of Inverloch, with a listening area encompassing a region of 41,000 square kilometres bounded by Phillip Island in the west, Lang Lang, Mirboo North and Boolarra to the north, Yarram to the east and Wilsons Promontory in the south.

It includes Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires and a small area of Cardinia and Wellington Shires.
