Smoothfm Melbourne has announced that former Network Ten news presenter Jennifer Hansen is their new Breakfast News Presenter.

After 9 years with Triple M Brisbane, Kim ‘Bangers’ Blair and his partner Bec Northey, who is the B105 Tactics Manager, are relocating to Auckland to work in radio.

Sam Vallins has scored his first on-air gig, doing weekends at Star FM Coffs Harbour. He also works as a digital content producer at the station.  

Mark Rosenberg has moved from Fairfax’s Metro Media Publishing to 3AW to take up the role of Agency Account Manager in Melbourne.

The Macquarie Radio Network has announced the resignation of Managing Director Rob Loewenthal.

RN Breakfast host Fran Kelly will take leave from the show for a few months to host Insiders on the ABC from April 27 to August 3. A fill in breakfast host for Kelly will be announced this week.

Tom Bell from the breakfast show on Hot FM WA is moving home to Melbourne to be with family and friends. He says, “After loving my time in WA; family, friends and a different lifestyle is calling. It’s been an amazing 2.5 years and I’ve learnt more than I could ever imagine. WA will always hold a special place in my heart.”

6PR Nightline host Graham Mabury is set to retire after 33 years hosting the show.

Luke Warburton is the new morning announcer on Zoo Digital (Super Radio Network). He is still doing breakfast on Radio 97 on the Tweed/Gold Coast plus working for ATN in SE Queensland.

Peter Samios is the new afternoon announcer on Zoo Digital (Super Radio Network).
