Fiona Smith is back with ARN in Brisbane.  She takes on the position of Senior Writer with 97.3FM and 4KQ. Fiona re-joins the team and replaces Nikki Price who is moving to Bundaberg following her husband Michael Price, who is now the CD at 4BU and Hitz FM.

Dylan Finch is joining the team at Super Radio Network’s Gem FM and 2NZ both On-Air and in production role.  He graduated from AFTRS last year. He got his start in radio at community station Northside Radio in Sydney. “I’m so excited, I start Monday! Just want to say a massive thanks to everyone in the industry, AFTRS, Northside Radio and TAFE for their support and help”, said Dylan.

Tricia Duffield has been appointed as News Director of Grant Broadcasters 2ST & Power FM. Tricia has worked as journalist in print, TV and radio over the years. Her radio news career started at 6PR Perth and also included the ABC in Sydney and Brisbane as well EP of John Laws return and freelancing in the UK.  She joins the stations from April.

Brendan Englebrecht has secured the Albury Content Director/Hub Operations Manager Role.  Brendo has been at the Albury hub since 2007. He started out at Power FM in the Hunter Valley, went to AFTRS and then Power FM Nowra.

Alison Donnellan has been appointed Assistant Content Director also at Albury. She has been ACD at The River for the last 3 years. Ali has worked at 2TM, Star Dubbo and Shepparton.

Gill Stewart has resigned as General Manager of The Radio Bureau in New Zealand. The Radio Bureau represents the sales side of New Zealand’s commercial radio industry and is a JV owned by MediaWorks and NZME.

Max Dudley is leaving hit107 Adelaide as EP of the Amos & Dani show. From March 2, he will be in Sydney as Producer of The Grill Team on Triple M.

After 32 years at 2ST, Graham French is retiring from the newsroom at the station. Graham signed on at 2ST back in 1983 first on breakfast for a year, then moving to being News Director for 2ST and Power FM.

After 23 years with the ABC, Colin Denovan is leaving after taking a redundancy. It brings to a close his time with the ABC in Melbourne and a career that spans 45 years.

Michael Price has signed on as Content Director for Hitz 93.9 and 4BU in Bundaberg with Grant Broadcasters. He takes over from Mark Hamel.
