Michelle Stephenson is the new National News Director for NOVA Entertainment.

Matt De Groot is no longer the National News Director of Nova Entertainment. He has decided to focus on his evolving role covering news with Fitzy & Wippa on Nova 96.9 and a list of other media appearances.

Tony Bartlett will be joining the Hot Tomato team as News Director in 2016. “Bart” is well known voice on the Gold Coast, having been the News Director for a number of years with Gold and SEA FM and 70 odd network stations at the time.

With Mathew “Eggo” Eggleston securing the CD gig at hit105, Kiri Martin will replace him at 2Day FM as MD. Kiri has been the MD at FOX FM for the last 12 months.

Dan Hill is heading back to Melbourne after moving to the Gold Coast this year as MD. Dan will be FOX MD and Operations Manager.

Tim Arnold from Hit105 Brisbane will be the new ACD for FOX FM Melbourne.

Julie Goodwin, the MasterChef winner, mum and a local; is joining Rabbit for Star 104.5’s Rabbit & Julie Goodwin breakfast show in 2016.

Nigel Johnson who was on 104.7 breakfast for years in Canberra, will be taking on Drive on sister station Mix 106.3 in 2016.

The Biggest Loser’s Shannan Ponton is the latest Network Ten talent to join  an SCA market, he will team up Bella Frizza for Sea FM’s Summer Breakfast.

Jeremy Simpson, GM for Triple M and 2DAY FM Sydney and Cathy Thomas GM for FOX FM and Triple M Melbourne will both exit at the end of this month. With the recent appointment of COO John Kelly based in Sydney, he will now formerly oversee both markets. Jeremy Simpson has been with SCA for 14 years – he became GM for Sydney in 2012. Cathy Thomas has been with the group for over 20 years. Starting in Sales, she became Melbourne GM in 2012.
