Mike E and Emma leave The Edge

Breakfast hosts Mike E and Emma have decided to leave ARN’s The Edge 96.1, having wrapped their final breakfast show last Friday.

The duo have entertained audiences in Western Sydney and beyond since 2011 with their unique mix of fun banter and celebrity guests.

For over ten years they have laughed, cried and always been real with their listeners, while helping to break new artists and supporting new music.

Mike E and Emma said, It’s very bittersweet saying goodbye to The Edge, which has been our home for eleven wild years.”

“We’re incredibly proud of the show we have created and the audience we have built, but it’s time to grow and evolve. We’re really excited about the next chapter of our broadcasting career and look forward to sharing it with you in 2022!”

ARN’s Chief Content Officer Duncan Campbell said, “Mike E and Emma have been a valued part of The Edge brand for over ten years and have built a loyal and engaged audience.  They are two fantastic broadcasters, who have a genuine passion for their audience and music, that’s very hard to beat.”

“We want to thank Mike E and Emma for all their work in making The Edge what it is today, and we look forward to seeing what they do next.”

It has not yet been made public where the pair are off to next. As soon as we can, we will tell you. Speculating? Put it in the comments box below.

One wonders where they go next?? Has to be a capital city market surely?? The press release does not indicate they are leaving ARN just the Edge. Heading to SA or Qld??

Never heard of them.
I’ll stick with Busco for Breakfast on SWR 99.9

Oh good, another pair of names Mick C hasn’t heard about.

Radiotoday could you please do an article on all the names Mick doesn’t know actually exist? Save him the trouble of repeating himself when he hits the comments.

I think they have a podcast next year because the both of them started following LiSTNR on Insta, which is a podcast app, and they don’t follow any of SCA’s radio stations, but I could be wrong tho.
