Mick Molloy takes on The Today Show’s Deb Knight

Staff Writer

Channel Nine’s new look Today Show is struggling to make an impression with viewers. Just weeks after its relaunch, the breakfast show is yet to make an impact on ratings.

Triple M’s Mick Molloy believes he has the answer to the show’s problems and it’s his on-air partner Jane Kennedy. He’s even joked he could take over from Steve Jacobs as the ‘wacky weatherman’.

Things took an interesting twist when the Today Show’s Deb Knight called in last night to take on Molloy.

Mick might be agitating for Jane to “save” Today, but she’s not having a bar of it and reckons Deb and Georgie Gardner are doing an “amazing job”.

The Today show isn’t the only show struggling in the ratings. Kennedy Molloy are also failing to make an impact, especially in Sydney where they are largely irrelevant.
