Media Heads mark 50 years since Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War

As 2023 marks 50 years since the end of Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War, Media Heads offer the opportunity to honour the 60,000 soldiers that served the country with a special radio series.

On Friday, August 18, traditionally a day recognised as Vietnam Veteran’s Day, Australia will mark that anniversary with a National Commemorative Service held in Canberra.

In recognition of this historic event, Media Heads has produced a stand-alone radio series that shares deeply personal and raw stories from those involved in this conflict.

The series comprises 21 90-second segments, representing a rare opportunity for Australians to commemorate a significant anniversary in this country’s military history while many of the veterans who served there are still alive.

The exclusive material which forms the basis of this series has been sourced from Media Heads’ vast collection of one-on-one interviews, something the company has been specialising in for more than 30 years.
