Matt & Jo raise more than expected for the kids

The plan was for the Matt & Jo Show on Fox FM to raise $100,000 for 100 underprivileged kids and their families.

It went so well they went beyond the $100k in the first week !! So they decided to increase it and try and raise $200,000 for 200 kids.

Today they broadcast from Luna Park and invited along the 200 kids and their families to enjoy the park for free.

Matt shaved the logo of a winning company into his head and Jo wore a dress of sponsor’s logos. They did everything they could to raise the money.

How much did they end up raising for these kids and their families ?

Troy: And the envelope is getting opened, drum roll please…

Jo: I’m very emotional…holy cow!

Matt: Read it out, I can’t see it!

Jo: Four hundred and twenty five thousand, and thirty one dollars!

Matt: Oh my gosh..are you serious?

Jo: I have to say thank you because it’s without a doubt the best thing I’ve ever been involved in because of Melbourne and because of the generosity and because of the beautiful children we’ve met here today.
