Marto takes on V8 champ….again

When the V8 Supercar roadshow comes to town, radio tends to go all out to reflect the event, whether it's in Townsville, Adelaide, Bathurst or this weekend in Ipswich.

Marto from Triple M's 'The Grill Team' in Brisbane, loves getting out of the studio and setting challenges.

Last year he challenged Craig Lowndes to do a hot lap in his 1994 Holden Rodeo Ute, but Marto won after Craig had a 'slight' handicap of having to tow a caravan.

This year Marto has another challenge in store for Lowndes, 'The Real World Pit Stop'.

Marto thinks that V8 Supercar drivers have no idea how to do a pit stop in real life, so has set the following challenge :-

• Put in $10 of petrol WITHOUT using the preset function
• Clean the windscreen and leave NO STREAKS
• Grab a packet of Twisties, Diet Coke, a Starburst Anaconda Snake and heat up a hot dog
• Pay with EFTPOS, grab the receipt
• Get back to the car

The ever smiling Lowndes has accepted Marto's challenge and 'The Real World Pit Stop' will happen this Friday.
