Marcel Marais Joins RAMP Media as Creative Director and Partner
After eight years with SCA – including a standout role with the national LiSTNR Sport team – Marcel Marais has officially commenced a new full-time position as Creative Director and Partner at RAMP Media – the independent creative agency behind the International Student Broadcasting Championship (ISBC).
Known for transforming podcast and radio content into cinematic episodic trailers, Marcel’s creative work helped shape LiSTNR’s digital footprint, elevate The Howie Games podcast and execute large-scale video productions — including Brendan Fevola’s Guinness World Record catch from a helicopter hovering 221 metres above Melbourne’s Princes Park.

“SCA was the creative foundation of my career, and I’m incredibly grateful for the trust and opportunities I was given — particularly within the LiSTNR Sport team,” said Marcel.
“But the time was right to take a leap, and RAMP Media offers the space to build something bold, purpose-led and future-facing.”
In his new role at RAMP Media, Marcel will oversee all creative direction across commercial campaigns, original productions, and brand storytelling initiatives. He will also drive strategy and global outreach for ISBC, an initiative he co-founded to elevate young broadcasters and content creators from all around the world.
“RAMP has always been about more than content. It’s about culture, integrity, and creating platforms that matter. I’m excited to lead that creative mission and help shape the next chapter,” he said.
RAMP Media Co-Founder and Managing Director Phillip Vinciullo said Marcel’s appointment signals a transformational step for the agency:
“Marcel brings the rare ability to see the creative big picture while crafting every detail to excellence. His energy, experience, and leadership are exactly what RAMP needs as we grow into the next stage of our evolution.”
Marcel’s appointment marks a significant expansion of RAMP Media’s investment in the podcasting space, as the agency increasingly collaborates with emerging podcast creators and corporations developing owned media platforms.
RAMP Media is currently scaling its content production offering across video, branded storytelling, and youth-led digital campaigns, with several new initiatives and partnerships to be announced in 2026.
