MAFS groom Richard opens up to Allan & Carly about ranking challenge blunder

Richard – Married At First Sight’s ‘most mature groom’ – has addressed a controversial moment on the show with the Hit Network’s Allan & Carly.

In hindsight, Richard says rating fellow female contestants – and ranking his bride Andrea equal-third – was awful and cringeworthy.

Having watched the episode himself, Richard said “Do I like myself? I don’t think I do. It’s quite confronting.”

But he says he’s since cleared the air with Andrea.

“I texted her afterwards and said ‘Man, that was horrible. I’m so sorry.’”

He says he got a ‘thumbs up’ in reply.
