Kyle Sandilands-helmed Luxe Listings Sydney to premiere on Amazon Prime

Luxe Listings Sydney, an Australian original series developed by Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) Kyle Sandilands, is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video this week.

The program, which follows three elite real estate agents as they ink multi-million dollar property deals around Sydney, will be released onto Amazon’s streaming service from July 9, and will be available in 24 international territories.

Luxe Listings Sydney was developed by Sandiland alongside independent production company Kentel and Eureka Productions, with Benjamin Scott and James Kennedy also serving as executive producers on the project.

Speaking to Media Week about the new program, Sandilands noted the glitzy appeal of the Sydney real estate market, highlighting the commercial potential for the new series.

“Everyone in the Eastern Suburbs talks about real estate agents as if they were rock stars,” Sandilands said.

“From when I first came to Sydney I heard about these people and then I started hearing about Gavin Rubinstein who seemed almost like the Jon Bon Jovi of Sydney real estate.

“Ben (Scott) has a great eye and ear for what people want because he’s worked in the entertainment business and in retail. We loved the real estate idea and we got involved with Kentel, who is Ben’s business partner. They really pushed it through while I was there at the conceptual stage.”

Sandilands also emphasised the significance of the program airing on Amazon Prime instead of free-to-air (FTA) TV.

“If Luxe Listings was just going to be for local viewers on FTA TV on a Saturday afternoon this might have been rubbish,” he commented.

“We wanted to work with a premium international streaming platform that would be able to broadcast to over 200 countries. To do that it had to be world-class and that has been achieved with a good budget spent wisely on production qualities.”

Sandilands and co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s Kyle and Jackie O Show for KIIS FM was today (July 6) named as Sydney’s #1 breakfast show in Survey 4.
