Local hero saves the day on Triple M Central Coast’s Paddy & Maz

It was a heartwarming start to the week on Triple M Central Coast’s Paddy & Maz for Breakfast, as local hero Steve showed great kindness to a Central Coast Mariners superfan who had his car tyres slashed after Saturday’s A-League Grand Final.

Max, a 19-year-old lifeguard and devoted Mariners superfan, is known for his iconic drumming at Central Coast games.

After celebrating the Mariners’ title-winning victory on Saturday night, Max returned to his car, only to find all four of his tyres slashed.

Hearing Max’s unfortunate story, Triple M’s Paddy and Maz reached out to Steve from Tumbi Tyres.

Steve didn’t hesitate to step in, announcing on air that he would replace Max’s tyres free of charge, instantly becoming a local hero.
