LiSTNR launches daily Aussie Rules podcast

LiSTNR has turned its focus to Aussie Rules, launching Footy Talk – Daily Australian Rules Podcast with Nick Riewoldt as one of the rotating hosts of the show.

The Footy Talk podcast is a daily dose of footy with a new episode every day, seven days a week.

The show breaks down the big stories, providing news, interviews, analysis, and banter from the world of footy, featuring ex-players, current players, experts and news breakers.

The Footy Talk team includes former St Kilda superstar Leigh ‘Joey’ Montagna, former Blues and Magpies champion Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas, 2017 AFLW premiership player Abbey Holmes and, in a recruiting coup, former Saints legend Nick Riewoldt.

“I’m super pumped to be a part of Footy Talk ahead of another epic season of AFL. We will be taking a look at all the news, game previews and reviews, as well as catching up with the biggest names in the game on a daily basis! Bring on season 2023,” Abbey Holmes said.

Beaming in from the US, Footy Talk has ensured Nick Riewoldts analysis continues to be heard here in Australia on every Tuesday episode.

“Seems like everyone has a podcast now! It can’t be that hard right? This is a great opportunity for me to stay in touch and chat about all the footy news with my old mate Joey every Tuesday, whilst I’m over here in Texas,” Nick Riewoldt said.

“The Footy Talk – Daily Australian Rules Podcast pushes the LiSTNR catalogue of sports podcasts to the top of the ladder. The new league Footy Talk podcast is already a fan favourite, and we know the Aussie Rules version will be just as popular,” said SCA Head of Sports Content, Ewan Giles.

Footy Talk – Daily Australian Rules Podcast is available now on LiSTNR or wherever you get your podcasts.
