Last person standing: Christian O’Connell takes Groundhog Day to new level

Grab your popcorn, because Groundhog Day is coming back again. And again. And again.

Gold 104.3’s The Christian O’Connell Show has served up the ultimate challenge for listeners.

It all started when Christian had a crazy idea – to get 16 listeners into a cinema to watch the same movie (Groundhog Day) on repeat for 48 hours.

The last person standing will win $20,000 to spend at Melbourne’s Chapel St Precinct.

To win the $20,000, listeners are required to stay awake and watch Groundhog Day on constant loop until there is only one listener left participating. This means the film could play up to 29 times!

The competition kicks off on-air this Monday, May 1^st.
