Krista Thomas joins i98

Krista Thomas is returning to the WIN Network as the news Editor at i98FM.

Krista was a journo at the WIN Network back in 2010. Down the track she covered news on ARN’s WSFM on Drive and also Kyle & Jackie O on KIIS 106.5. After taking a break she returns to the radio fold.

Krista said: “A two year break from radio has given me time to travel the world, but my love for radio never faded. I’m extremely excited and humbled to be returning to the industry as News Editor for i98 – a station and region I have long had a special affinity with. The role is an unbelievable opportunity, and I can’t wait to be back bringing news to the Illawarra in 2017.”

i98FM Content Director Tony Aldridge said, “I am delighted that Krista has accepted the News Editor position. She has the pedigree from one of the world’s best Breakfast Shows – Kyle and Jackie O along with a fantastic on air presentation style. Having worked at i98 before, she has the all-important local knowledge to ensure that she and the rest of the news team deliver the Illawarra’s best radio news.”

Krista commences with i98FM towards the end of December.
