Kim returns to Newcastle radio

Sarah Levett has left the breakfast show on NEW FM and will be replaced with former NXFM host Kim Bauer.

Kim was part of the long running lineup with Steve G (now on KOFM breakfast). They finished up 12 months ago after 11 years working together (hear their final break). Steve and Kim will now be competitors in Newcastle.

Remaining on the breakfast show will be Steve St John and Melanie 'Sarge' Sargeant.

Sarge said, "I've always looked up to Kim as an iconic radio personality in Newcastle and feel so privileged to get the chance to work with her next year."

GM Guy Ashford said the station had 'strong momentum in the breakfast race and the new line-up would maintain the rage'.

The new show will begin in January.
