i98FM wins big at Australian Audio Awards

It was a triumphant night for the Illawarra’s i98FM at the inaugural Australian Audio Awards in Sydney last night, with the station securing three major wins from its seven nominations.

Video and Content Producer Jess Hoggard took home the award for Best Newcomer Off-Air, while i98FM newsreader Ash Wright was named Best News Presenter (Medium Market). Rounding out the evening’s success, Shayne Topper proved to be a standout in his field, winning the competitive Best Salesperson or Team category.

WIN Network’s General Manager of Radio Tia Davis said the results reinforce the strength of the station’s content and team.

“These awards are a humbling reflection of the quality of work being delivered across the station,” said Davis. “We’re proud to see Jess, Ash and Shayne recognised, alongside multiple nominations, which highlights the depth of talent and collaboration within our team.”
