Katy Perry makes a hot return to Australia’s radio landscape, breaking into the Top 40 with her new single ‘Bandaids’. Landing at #17, ‘Bandaids’ pulled in 459 spins nationwide with strong support from 104.1 2Day FM, Hit104.7 and SAFM.
Tame Impala’s ‘Dracula’ has also sunk its teeth into the chart, debuting after nine weeks on air. The track’s lift comes largely from triple j, where it received 24 spins, making it the station’s sixth most-played song of the week.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift maintains her firm grip on the upper tier of the chart. ‘The Fate Of Ophelia’ holds steady at #2, while sister single ‘Opalite’ continues its upward trajectory, climbing three spots to #6.
