Jay Walkerden’s new podcast company adds two fresh titles

Staff Writer

Jay Walkerden recently launched his new podcast company Podshape, and now the ex-Nova head of podcasting has announced that two new podcasts have joined his stable.

The first new podcast comes from Australian comedian and former Hit Network host Shad Wicka.

It’s called Good Yarns, and will see Wicka tell unreal stories from very real Aussies. “We all have at least one unreal story we love to share,” he says.

“Something to bring out at the pub or BBQ with some mates. Good Yarns features a new guest with a story tell every week.

“Incredible, hilarious or really interesting are the only filters they have to live by and all I have to do is kick back, have laugh and soak up a Good Yarn”.

Next up, is an already-popular Am I A Bad Mum?  – which already boasts over 1500 episodes and is currently being featured on Apple Podcasts.

“We love what Podshape stands for, telling stories that can help make a difference and that’s what our podcast is about,” says one half of the Bad Mum team, Rachel Thaiday.

“We want anyone that listens to know that we are all in this together and being a mum is not easy and sometimes its good to sit back and have a laugh about some of our mess-ups.”

The new pods are available on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.

“Both of these titles further enhance our offering which is telling great Australian stories that can help shape peoples lives,” says Walkerden.

“These two titles remind us in a very serious world sometimes we have to sit back and smile and both podcasts start with that in mind.”

COME ON RADIO TODAY!!

Stop using the Spotify embed player, their not radio, and look for every chance to take down the industry.

Isn’t Podshape hosted on Whooshkaa or something, can’t you use that embed player?
