Real Housewives star Jackie Gillies launches podcast via Acast
Acast has a new podcast to host and distribute, with Jackie Gillies the latest talent to be signed to the Acast Creator Network.
Gillies is a businesswoman, psychic medium, cast member of The Real Housewives of Melbourne, and now host of Shine It Up, With Jackie Gillies.
Acast said the podcast will give listeners inspiration and motivation “to live their best life”, and will offer insights into Gillies’ own life including her IVF journey with husband Ben.
Guests will also include Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Julia Morris, Hannah Ferrier and past and present stats of Housewives.
Gillies said the podcast had been in the works for some time, so its launch today was exciting.
“I really wanted to do something more to inspire, motivate and empower people around the world, so the natural next step for me was to launch a podcast – and partnering with Acast has really felt like the perfect fit,” she said.
“I can’t wait to connect with my community in this new way and for everyone to hear the first episode, and the episodes to come.”
Jordon Lott, content development manager for Acast Australia and New Zealand, who also recently appeared on the Radio Today 30 Under 30 list, said she can’t wait to see how Gillies’ passion for inspiring conversation and thinking outside the box translates into podcasting.
“From the first meeting we had with Jackie, the whole Acast team felt her positive energy – it’s contagious – so we’re confident Shine It Up, With Jackie Gillies will resonate with not just Real Housewives fans, but a much wider audience,” she said.
Acast will monetise the podcast via ads, sponsorships and branded content.
