Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lot podcast joins NOVA Entertainment

Former Editor & Content Director

NOVA Entertainment has signed a new title to its podcast network, bringing Abbie Chatfield’s It’s A Lot into the fold.

Chatfield launched the podcast in March last year after coming to prominence in the 2019 season of The Bachelor. She’s since signed a book deal with Affirm Press for an “entry level handbook for young feminists” titled So Let’s Unpack That, and is currently competing in Channel 10’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Episodes of It’s A Lot will come out each Tuesday and discuss “anything and everything and decode those taboo topics we don’t speak about enough”, NOVA said. These include sex and dating, feminism, LGBTIQA+ issues and more.

Chatfield said the success of It’s A Lot had been “somewhat of an accident”.

“When I began this podcast less than 12 months ago, I had no idea the reach and impact it would have,” she said. “I am so privileged to be joining the NOVA podcast family, and am looking forward to seeing where the podcast goes next.”

Rachel Corbett, NOVA Entertainment’s head of podcasts and digital content, added: “We’re really excited to add Abbie’s unique brand of eye-watering honesty to our network. She’s flying the flag for body positivity, female sexual confidence, and she’s a huge advocate for celebrating exactly who you are. That kind of inclusive mindset is what we’re all about.”

The most recent episode, released today, has Chatfield discussing being slut-shamed on I’m A Celebrity.
