ARN celebrates iHeartPodcast Network turning one

Australian Radio Network (ARN) is today celebrating the first ‘birthday’ of its podcasting arm, the iHeartPodcast Network Australia.

ARN said in its first 12 months in operation, the iHeartPodcast Network had exceeded all expectations, including becoming Australia’s number one podcasting publisher, according to the Australian Podcast Ranker, and having close to one in three titles in the Ranker’s top 100.

ARN’s head of digital audio, Corey Layton, said the operation is just getting started.

“The iHeartPodcast Network Australia has had an incredible 12 months since launch, and today we have so much to celebrate. Our mission is to connect the best local and global creators with audiences and brands, and to create industry-leading campaigns that are impactful and inspiring,” he said.

“We work collaboratively with our agency partners, brands and creators to deliver the best commercial and creative outcomes. By leveraging the immersive, personal nature of podcast listening, we deliver more effective and meaningful integration that connects with audiences, without detracting from the content.”

ARN said the podcast network offers brands a range of innovative integrated opportunities with “market-leading tech, gold-standard research and measurement to demonstrate campaign effectiveness”.
