How radio covered the Royal visit
The arrival of the Royals in Sydney yesterday presented a great chance for radio content, so how did commercial stations make the most of the opportunity?
Kennedy Molloy
Triple M Drive show Kennedy Molloy weren’t able to make the trip up from Melbourne to greet the royals, so instead left a strategically places billboard next to Meghan and Harry’s motorcade.
Kyle and Jackie O
KIIS 106.5’s Intern Pete doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to celebrity interviews.
Despite catching Prince Harry for a quick chat, and insisting that they’d met before, Harry didn’t recall ever meeting him.
Fitzy and Wippa
Nova 96.9 news reader Matt De Groot managed to get close enough for a handshake with Prince Harry at Taronga Zoo.
He also presented Meghan with some flowers, evoking a response from Harry; “You can’t give flowers that big to my wife. What’s that all about!”

Pippa and Alo
Meghan and Harry made their way to Dubbo this morning, and Hit93.5 was on the scene at the airport for their arrival.

Pippa and Alo spent the time leading up to the Royal arrival getting the city cleaned up.

Hit Mid North Coast’s Bodge and Cass were feeling a bit left out today, so they called up Pippa and Alo to find out all the latest.
