Hit92.9’s Xavier, Juelz & Pete put $10K towards couple’s baby journey

18 months ago the Hit92.9 Breakfast team heard the story of a Perth couple who had been struggling to fall pregnant.

Cheyne and Chloe had been trying for a baby for years, but after Cheyne was diagnosed with, and overcame bowel cancer, conceiving was a real struggle even with IVF.

They had failed to fall pregnant either naturally or with IVF, and the taxing process had taken its toll, before they reached out to Hit92.9 for financial help.

The Perth station handed over $10,000 towards fertility treatments, and sent the couple on their way wishing them luck for the future.

Cheyne and Chloe called in to the Xavier, Juelz & Pete Breakfast show to reveal some exciting news, they managed to conceive and gave birth to a baby girl last month!

“10 days ago we had a little baby girl,” said Cheyne. “We’ve done three [treatments] all up. I was there [in hospital], saw it all happen. Crazy!”

“I’m good, I’m in a happy little bubble at the moment,” added Chloe.
