Hit105 & Triple M Brisbane begin broadcasting from new studios

Hit105 and Triple M Brisbane have begun broadcasting from their new home at The Barracks.

The new SCA Brisbane studios, named AUDIO HQ, are a new custom-designed headquarters and touted as the country’s most advanced radio studios.

Hit105 Breakfast with Stav, Abby & Matt, and Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Robin & Nick Cody are both coming from AUDIO HQ for the first time, having moved from long-time SCA Brisbane home at North Quay.

The move has been one of the biggest and most technical relocations in radio history in Australia, with two fully operational radio stations will making the change.

125 team members have come across and there’s been with no break in transmission.

Key features of the new studios include:

  • 50km of CAT6A data cabling
  • 32,000 unique Audio Signals
  • 101 TV screens
  • 318 computer screens
  • 6144 channels of lighting control
  • The largest electrical switchboard in SCA history

I thought Newcastle’s tripple m and hit 106.9 were the newest studios.
