Hide & Seek: KIIS 97.3 listeners search Brisbane for Robin, Kip & Corey
Robin, Kip & Corey’s Hide & Seek is officially underway, with KIIS 97.3 launching a city-wide search of Brisbane, offering a $20,000 prize for the first listener to track the brekky trio down.
Robin, Kip and Corey left the studio live on air this morning, blindfolded and individually transported to a top-secret location – even they don’t know where they are.
Before being whisked away, Kip Wightman said:“For the last few weeks we’ve been waiting to be taken to the secret location. We didn’t know when we’d be taken or where. And now it’s on.”
When asked on how she was feeling while completely blindfolded, Robin Bailey said “I’m not sure how I’m feeling. I’ve got a thing over my head. I don’t know what I’m doing, but I feel slightly car sick.”
Corey Oates, the last of the trio to be taken away, said: “I’m not going to resist. It’s on, Brisbane. Come find us!”
Clues to Robin, Kip & Corey’s whereabouts will be revealed each morning on KIIS 97.3 and can also be found on the podcast, across fixed and roaming billboards, nightly on 7NEWS, and via the KIIS Club.
To join the hunt, listeners must register online, follow the daily clues, and knock on the right door between 6:00AM and 10:00AM. The first to find Robin, Kip & Corey wins $20,000 cash.
A concept stolen by Nova and maybe another network. Where are the original ideas nowadays? The producers need to think harder, maybe even take ideas in the form of requests by listeners.
This is a carbon copy of Jase & Lauren’s “Hide & Seek” in Melbourne last year. Even the set up in hiding posted to Insta is the same.
They also did innuendo bingo last year which Nova Brisbane did 5 years ago! Has everyone run out of original ideas?!
