HELL NO to Godmotherdom

For the last few weeks HOT FM Queensland’s Tanya Hennessy has been campaigning to be the Godmother to her On-Air partner Hamish’s 19 month old son, Adam.

Hamish laid it down, if Tanya could handle a simulator baby then she would have a shot at the real thing. Tanya named the synthetic child “Shakira” and for the last 24 hours they ramped up the settings to high, with Shakira screaming until changed, crying till feed, crying and cooing till burped – every 20 to 30 minutes on the clock. Tanya couldn’t even pull the plug, they took away the key to the battery.

After a sleepless night where Shakira cried for 3 hours straight this morning Tanya said “HELL NO to Godmotherdom.  NEVER EVER EVER.”

“I don’t want to be godmother, I don’t even want to imagine what being a mother is like after that. How do parents do it??!!!”

“This is the hardest thing I have done in my radio career, you can’t sleep, it won’t stop… i haven’t slept in 24 hours!”

Hamish is stoked. He has two sisters who are vying for Godmotherdom.
