Nova Adelaide shake-up continues with Hayley Pearson next to go

More changes to the Nova 919 Breakfast show have been announced with Hayley Pearson revealing her decision to leave.

Co-host Dylan Lewis announced his departure last month, with no word on his next move.

Pearson first joined Nova 100 in 2007 as co-host of the night show Launchpad, alongside Jarrod Walsh and then Tim Blackwell.

In 2016, she teamed up with Lewis to host breakfast in Adelaide.

“I’ve loved every minute of my time at Nova and would have done the show with Dylan until we were old and grey. But with him leaving to start a new chapter, it’s the right time for me to move on too. I just can’t see myself working with anyone else.

“My heart is yelling louder than my head and I always have to follow my heart. While I’m incredibly sad to be leaving the amazing team, I certainly won’t be a stranger to Nova. I will still be the station’s biggest fan.”

Nova 919 head of programming Ben Latimer has paid tribute to Pearson.

“Hayley has an amazing career at Nova and has been a much-loved part of our Breakfast Show. We’re incredibly grateful for all her hard work and passion over the years and wish her all the best with the next part of her journey.”

Away from radio, Pearson runs the highly successful Adelady, which encompasses a successful website, social media channels, magazine and TV show on Channel Nine. She plans to devote more of her energies to Adelady.

Lewis and Pearson will host their final show on Nova 919 on Friday, November 1.

NOVA Entertainment is yet to unveil plans for 2o20.

Current anchor, Jarrod Walsh will continue to be part of Nova 919. Further details about his role have also yet to be announced.

Will and Woody should go to Nova Adelaide. They only do well in Sydney because of Kyles show.
