Traffic reporter, atn Chief Executive Officer and gtn Global CEO Vic Lorusso has found a new radio home at SCA following his recent ARN departure.

Lorusso will make his on-air debut on Sydney’s 2DayFM and Triple M on Monday, July 20.

atn already has an ongoing contract with SCA to supply traffic information, but now Vic will be the voice heard on those stations rather than other atn reporters.

The move coincides with Lorusso’s 26th anniversary in the media industry, capping off over two decades of eye-in-the-sky traffic reporting.

Matthew O’Reilly, SCA Head of Broadcast Content, said “Vic Lorusso is an absolute institution on Sydney radio, and we know how much his voice means to the city’s drivers. For a quarter of a century, Sydneysiders have relied on Vic’s unmatched knowledge and reassuring presence to navigate their daily commute. He has a strong bond with the city and we are thrilled to give him a new home on 2DayFM and Triple M, ensuring his trusted expertise stays right where it belongs on Sydney’s airwaves.”

Lorusso said “I am delighted to be joining the 2DayFM and Triple M breakfast teams. I grew up listening to these iconic Sydney stations, so I am thrilled to now be part of their on-air success. SCA and atn share a long-standing trusted partnership which I am immensely proud of. I am delighted to continue supporting the commuters of Sydney and reporting across atn’s network.”
