Hamish & Andy’s Business Brunch begins

Hamish & Andy's new morning show is ready to launch on Tuesday.

Airing straight after the breakfast shows at each Today station, their Business Brunch will be on.

According to the network websites, all the metro's will be starting it at 9am with the only exception being 2Day FM who will air it from 10am. Sea FM on the Gold Coast also has them down for a 10am start.

In December when the new show was announced, Craig Bruce, Head of Content for SCA, told us:

"You’ve got stations like 2Day FM where Kyle and Jackie O don’t finish at 9 o’clock. The breakfast shows will run through til whatever time it runs through to and following that The Hamish & Andy show will happen directly off the back of it."

The show is most probably pre-recorded, making it more flexible for each local market to deliver, especially off the back of a breakfast show.

The SCA media release says that every Tuesday they will reveal the week’s agenda and the topic up for discussion each day and then interact with their listeners via email and social media to deliver content for the show.

Craig said last year:

"The thing with the guys is they were keen to get involved more next year. They came to us with a concept……to have listeners come to us in breakfast and stay for the workday for Hamish & Andy is exciting."
