Grant and Chezzi share life’s ups and downs on Nova
Grant Denyer and his wife Chezzi have joined NOVA Entertainment, with their unfiltered tell-all podcast IT’S ALL TRUE?
Grant – one of Australia’s most respected entertainers – and his producer and presenter wife Chezzi spill the beans on what really happens behind closed doors.
IT’S ALL TRUE? is a funny and honest account of the good, bad and ugly of life, with Grant and Chezzi sharing extraordinary tales from their drama-filled 12-year marriage.
With much of their relationship invented by the tabloids, they’re telling their own stories no matter how god-awful, embarrassing or hilarious.
In the current episode, Grant and Chezzi talk about parental guilt and how they felt after discovering that their youngest child has been in pain with pronounced hip dysplasia.
In the podcast, Grant says “When we saw the Xray, her right little hip is a long way out of the joint, like a long way out, like an enormous amount out, I was shocked, this poor little thing has clearly been battling through pain and discomfort, unable to sit for long or crawl because her little hip was out of the joint.”
Even though they’d had an ultrasound, it didn’t show up until they saw an expert.
Chezzi tells of the pain their child had been in, saying “It makes you feel terrible as a parent. I guess as a mum, I keep thinking why didn’t we follow this up, why didn’t we look into it? And I know that even though she had an ultrasound on her hips and had all the proper checks, nobody picked it up.”
Grant and Chezzi also talk about a woman’s instinct to protect their family, remembering how Chezzi grabbed a guy by the throat and threw him against a wall after he called Grant names and tried to lift him six months after back surgery.
