Gary Barlow joins Smooth FM line up with new Saturday evening show

Take That’s Gary Barlow is taking to Australian radio with his own Saturday evening show on the Smooth FM Network starting this week – 10 February at 4pm.

Gary has created a feel-good playlist for Smooth listeners and over the hour will share stories about his favourite songs and artists, plus a few personal anecdotes that will give listeners a glimpse into the life of the UK superstar.

Peter Clay, NOVA Entertainment’s Head of Programming for Smooth FM, says “Gary’s music has been a regular on Smooth FM since the network was launched.”

“He’s a terrific artist and was part of one of the world’s biggest genre-defining boy bands, so it’s a pleasure to welcome him to the lineup.”

“Ahead of Take That’s return to Australia later this year, we can’t wait to share Gary’s new show with listeners.”

Gary is the latest in a long list of high-profile artists and personalities to join the Smooth FM lineup over the years including Sir Rod Stewart, Michael Bublé, Olivia Newton-John, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Ronan Keating and Dolly Parton.

Gary Barlow can be heard on Saturday evenings from 4pm to 5pm on the Smooth FM Network.
